Delanie & Mike – Edworthy Park Portraits

Last week I met up with Delanie & Mike at a park near my house to do a portrait session. They brought their fantastic dog Vida (a purebred malamute), and Edworthy supplied more than enough mosquitos to go around! It was one of those beautiful summer evenings where the sun lingered forever along the western horizon, and the smell of campfires and bbq was all around us. I have a lot of fond memories of going to this park with my grandparents when I was young, and love introducing people to the area during a photoshoot. Delanie & Mike are outdoorsy people and seemed to feel right at home almost instantly. Even though there were quite a few people in the park that night, we still found some places to have to ourselves. I’m so excited for them and the arrival of their first baby – which brings up the question, what’s the smallest size of hiking boots?
