When I first met up with Jane & Colin last year I had no idea of just how much fun they would be both during their engagement shoot and especially on their wedding day. To say it was a fun shoot would be a huge understatement – such a fantastic day surrounded by amazing people and attention to detail at every turn. It was one of the hottest days of the summer, which left us hunting for any piece of shade we could find. They never complained a bit, and went along with everything / location I had scouted for the shoot. The ceremony and reception were held at the Crossroads Market, and walking into the dual-purpose tent was like walking into a whole other world thanks to the hard work of Sterling Weddings and Events YYC. They had carried the farmers market throughout the venue which made for a perfect backdrop for the day. Lots of love, emotion, comic relief (their puppy Jax handled that quite nicely during the ceremony), and laughter (see examples below for reference). I really feel lucky to have been asked to shoot their wedding, and capture such a special moment in their lives!
